Interface for burning DVDS. MEP Pro 2016

My project is done, I am trying to make a Menu for my DVD before burning it. I was messing with it to try and make my own, and I don't like it, now i can't get it off the screen , it will not let me pick a template or delete the one I made.  How do I delete what keeps popping up automatically fo my project, when I go into the interface for burning DVDS?

I went into the edit screen and can't find anything that says delete what I did?  Grrrrrr .

And I have now lost my own Intro, it is now this stupid one I can't delete. But when I go into my project my intro is still there, but when I hit the preview screen for the menu, it is gone

Please don't ask me how i tried to make my own Menu because I was totally lost at ths point......

Hi Pat

When you enter the Burn tab the project will always pick up the last used template for the DVD menu or the Default if it is the first time burning for the project.

From the bottom of the DVD menu screen on the left select the category of menu you want and then double click a suitable template and it will change to that menu.

Save the project.

Hi Pat

. . . . . it will not me select another template. The project  freezes everytime I double click on a new template . . . .

The project needs resetting this is the quickest way:

  1. Start a new project and add any image to the timeline - you will delete this later.

  2. Select File, Open and select the faulty project and open it - a dialog will appear.

  3. In the dialog click Add new project.

  4. You will now have two timelines in the new project and the faulty project timeline should be displayed, if it is not displayed click its tab.

  5. Press Ctrl + A (Select all) followed by Ctrl + C (Copy)

  6. Select the timeline tab with the single image on it

  7. Delete the image and ensure the timeline cursor is at the beginning

  8. Press Ctrl + V (Paste) - all the objects from the faulty project will now be on this timeline.

  9. Click the X button on the faulty project tab and select Delete movie

  10. Save the project with a different name.

You should now be able to change the DVD menu

Awesome, thank you very very much! No words to describe, now that I don't have to redo my project.
