Instruments not working/ Magix Vita - file not found

so I've had this problem for a while now but I had other things to do so I didn't look into it until now. when I want to open an instrument, for example, the Drum Engine I get an error report that it cant find the file "YT ELUP-KIT-51 Bass Drum 1".

I did a bit of "research" and found out that my "MxSynth" folder got misplaced for whatever reason and that in every folder for the respective instrument there should be an "image files" folder with the mentioned above file in it, so here is the problem these "image files" folders are gone and I searched the whole pc both hard drives and there are nowhere to be found, so my question is now, can I redownload the instruments or "repair" them in any way?

I am using Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Here's a question: How are you going about adding this instrument to the project? Are you opening the list of installed instruments from the track header, by any chance? If you go to the "Instruments" tab in the Music Maker mediapool, and you hover your mouse over the tile for the software instrument you're having this problem with (e.g. "Drum Engine"), what status does it display in the upper left-hand corner of the tile? Does it still appear with the padlock icon?

I'm having this problem in 2020. There's a padlock icon for me. It tells me to activate the instrument but I have no idea how to do that. I can't find any help online anywhere. My "Activated content" window doesn't display anything I have.

Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Is the instrument from an earlier version of Music Maker?

If so is the old version of Music Makers serial number in the Activated content as shown below

Yo are also missing updates the latest version is 28.0.2.47.

I had version 27 and just updated to 28 today. Interesting that it didn't give me the latest version.

I had this issue before updating. But the last time I used the program, there were no issues.

My activation list does not display anything passed the message at the top. There are no keys and no product information. If I remember, there was something there before the update.

Let me get the latest version and see if anything changes.

Assuming you mean that no serial keys for earlier versions are shown for you on the screen that @johnebaker posted, you will need to find and insert all those keys via the Magix account tab on the opening splash screen, I think, one at a time.

I tried entering my keys and nothing happens. Still no list of keys. Still cannot unlock the Analog Synths 2 I used to have. There are 3 other instruments that are working fine that I purchased on the same day. But this one is just not for some reason.

I updated to 28.0.2.47 as well.

Assuming you purchased this instrument with the others - try logging out of the store, wait a few seconds, then log back in again it should then unlock.

I had the same issue and I resolved by going to Settings -> Folders -> Reset VST plugins button
