Music Maker is a Windows-only product so, unless you have Bootcamp (or similar, not Parallels) and a fully-installed version of Windows on your MAC it will most definitely not install.

If you do have Bootcamp and Windows installed, please tell us the exact wording of the error message you see. A screenshot of it would be quite useful, I think. One thing to consider, assuming you do have this dual-system, MM MX is now a rather old version; I'm not sure it will run under Windows 10.
