Installing instruments etc

Kev914 wrote on 12/7/2017, 2:38 PM

I just bought Samplitude Suite 3. I installed it to my D drive as my C drive is a smaller Solid State drive. I am trying to install the instruments, but they keep going to the C drive. Is there a place where you can tell the program where you want them installed? I have some VST files on my C drive, but I don't wish to add anymore there.

Thanks.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I don't think that anyone has found a way to install the instruments elsewhere, only on drive C. However, you should install the Independence instruments on another drive, all 70GB worth.

There is another forum just for Samplitude users at:

http://support2.magix.net/boards/samplitude/

You have to register to be able to see anything. There, you will find a lot of useful information and links, especially to the upwards of 200 tutorials by Kraznet on YT. Kraznet just posted his link to a tutorial on YT about installing Independence.

Thanks. I went ahead and installed the instruments to my c drive. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I did see that I could choose where I installed the Independence instruments on my D drive. I was relieved about that. And thanks for the link to the other forum. I'll need the tutorials.
