Installer for Music Maker EDM Edition (2018) won't work

Hi everyone, I got music maker EDM edition through Humble Bundle a while back and I've just got round to installing it, but everytime I run the installer (which downloads fine) it never gets past 0% installation before just stopping. I've tried changing the permissions and my internet settings based on a forum post for a similar problem but nothing seems to help

I'd really appreciate some help, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and i'll provide any other info needed

Just download the free music maker from the magix website and enter your serial number.

I should've said, I've tried that after learning they're all teh same version now, but I have the exact same problem with the installer for that too
