Hi

If you are getting a M2TS file then you have selected the AVCHD export preset.

You need to export using one of the MP4 presets - if you do not see many check the Display all check box in the export dialog as shown below.

Note: depending on which codec you are using, Intel or MainConcept, your options may be different to those in the image which are those available with the Intel codec..

If you have options for HDTV - this is mp4 file format - you can see this by the file extension in the dalog where it indicates where the file is being saved and its name.
