installation "dll required to complete install"

im having problems installing this program(acid pro 10 suite) , after several attempts it always get a message saying "dll needed to complete" and one time i got vcruntime140_.dll was not found. i downloaded from the email i received and from my account on magix. my system is telling me its an software problem. im using windows 10 version 1909, xps 8930 intel(R) core(TM) i7-9700 cpu @ 3 ghz, 16 gb ram, 64 bit os

Vern, it is possible that vcruntime140.dll was somehow deleted from your PC or a damaged Windows registry. Try looking for it online and install it. Try re-installing Acid after that.

@vern12345 Try downloading and installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 (vc_redist.x64.exe for a 64 bit system) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

Like AmanSingh said, the dll is missing on your system. It will be installed if you use the installer from Microsoft.
