@Ellis-Bailey The new versions are not compatible with 32 bit systems.

@Ellis-Bailey

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Can we clarify exactly which version and variant of Music Maker you are updating from?  As @SP. says, the latest version MM 2021 is 64 bit only and designed to run on Windows version 8.1 or later. Thus, given your current system you cannot update to MM 2021.

Thanks for your reply. Ok, I understand. I also have Music Maker 2013 premium on my computer, and it worked great. However, ever since I installed the newer version on Music Maker 2016 premium, the 2013 version can't load anymore. It gets stuck on loading the soundpools, when trying to bring the program up, and won't come up. I love 2013 Music Maker. Is there any way I can get that working again, so I can use it? If I delete the 2016 MM, would that possibly help to be able to use 2013 MM again? If not, I wonder if it's possible to buy 2013 MM again.

@Ellis-Bailey Have you tried temporarily move the Soundpool folder somewhere else? Maybe you could just rename it and see if the program will run again. Then you could try to reset the program to its default settings (I think this option should be in the File menu). Then close the software and rename the Soundpool folder back to its original name.
