Inserting Photo in MP3 output

bdhore wrote on 9/28/2014, 11:12 PM

Hi,

I am using "MAGIX Audio Cleaning Lab - 2014". The "Mastering" option inserts a default image in in the output (MP3) File. How can I change this to pick up a different "Image" from my File folder? If it is possible - will it accept JPG images and what pixel resolution I should create JPG image?

A quick response would be highly appriciated.

Thanks

Dipak

Hi Dipak,

I have the more advanced Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium. I don't see where or how this image gets inserted. Can you be more specific?

Hi John,

There is an Editor under 'CD' Tab which allows to attach some Metadata like Name of the Singer, Year etc. I was expecting this Editor would give an option to 'Embed' an image (.jpg) of my choice e.g., Singer's image etc. So I was wondering how I can achieve this objective.

Hi Dipak,

I have looked and can't find any way to do what you want in the cleaning lab programs. Strange.

However, it can be done in Magix MP3 Deluxe MX. Here is what the manual says:

"Each MP3 file can also feature an image by adding an „image as cover". Since the picture (JPEG image) is saved directly in the MP3 file, it shouldn't be too big (1 MB max.). "Insert Storage Space" adds the picture from the clipboard if there is one available there. You can select an image from a folder via "Load Image". "From album" adds the cover from the clipboard, that was stored there e. g. after an Amazon cover search."

I guess that if you want to be able to insert a picture in an MP3 file, you need MP3 Deluxe or some other program that does this.
