Hi there,

You can bring in animated GIF files just like any medium (e.g. still photos, audio files): Locate the file in the media pool (the built-in file browser) and drag & drop it down into the storyboard/timeline in the lower part of the screen. It's behaves pretty much like a little video clip, except that you can actually grab it by the little, lower right-hand handle (in timeline view) and stretch it to extend the duration. This will basically cause the GIF to loop repeatedly.
