Assuming you mean using Magix Movie Studio, titles and captions are the only way of adding subtitles.
Do note that these are rendered into the video file on export and cannot be turned on/off in the player.
Are you wanting to create a video file, or DVD / Blu-ray disc, with the option to turn the subtitles on/off then extra steps are involved and require 3rd party software and/or a video editor that supports this.
