Insanely glitchy nigh unusable.

I recently fired up MAGIX Music Maker to try and make a few tracks for a game I'm making. However, after it finished updating to the latest version, I find that a majority of the included loops bring up an error saying "The following VST plug-in cannot be loaded: DN-e1" This is a problem as I cannot access hardly any of the included loops. I proceeded to try and uninstall/reinstall the program, and stumbled upon the 2017 version still installed in a separate folder. So I launched it up and it worked fine. Except it would experience glitches randomly when I clicked on loops, once even deleting all my progress, so I started over. Then as I was nearing completion of my song, my project became glitched so that no matter where my cursor was on the timeline, it would always start from the beginning of the song, and I found I could not export the glitched project. Copy/pasting all timelines into a new project doesn't work. It does fix the play from beginning glitch, but half of the loops simply don't play at all, and the new copy is extremely laggy to the point of nearly eight full seconds of input lag.

I have paid for this premium program and honestly expected better, I did not pay $80 to waste an entire afternoon just trying to get the program to work at all.

Back when I first purchased it, I never encountered any of these issues.

@Brandan-Nielsen

Welcome to the Magix forums.

When you downloaded the update to the latest version, did you also download and install ALL the additional content, potentially including loops, instruments etc., you already owned? The latest versions have made changes to the formats etc. of previously-purchased content and so require the user to install the latest version of that content.

I wasn't sure how, as the option to download sound packs was not where it previously was in the old version.

Assuming you are logged into the store (your email address should be showing at the top right of the workscreen) have you checked for anything/everything listed under the Store tab? If there are items that are available to you they should show with a Download button.
