Independence Percussion VST

Hey there,

A few years ago I had converted a YellowTools Culture license to the new Independence VSTI, but subsequently ended up focussing on my academic pursuits and, thus, no longer used this VSTI. I am now back to music and would like to reinstall Independence into my Cubase workflow. Could you tell me how I can:

1) Download a new installer (the installer i just downloaded a moment ago didn't seem to be compatible with MacOS 10.15)

2) Where I can download the sample content (there are probably a few Gigs worth of it, but I only have my Culture install/content DVDs which are probably outdated ...)

From where did you download the installer? What is the name of the file/executable?
After installing Independence there should be a separate content installer that shows up when loading Independence for the first time.

I went to "My account" -> "My Products", and where, under "Downloads" it gives me download links for the installation programs (in my case the Mac-designated link. The subsequently downloaded file seems to be a 32bit file and can'd be run on MacOS 10.15 ...

@Strudelboy Yeah, Apple removed 32 bit support with catalina. I would suggest you ask infoservice@magix.net if they can send you a 64 bit MAC version. I hope this version exists.

It seems to run on Catalina. There is a user saying it in the Samplitude forum: https://community.samplitude.com/topic/54163-independence-64-bit-installer-and-crashing-when-closing/

Downloading from my Magix account I get version 3.6.0.23 here. I created a small test project with 6 Independence instances and 6 different instruments with LPX 10.5.1 on Catalina 10.15.6 (Hardware is Hackintosh - I7-3770K) @128 and 44.1. I could save the project. The first time I tried to open again LPX quit. The next 4 times it opens smoothly.
