Hello, everyone, Nice to meet you.

Since I purchased and started using Samplitude Pro X5 Suite
Independence has stopped working as an independent sampler!

Of course, Pro X5 Suite also comes with Independence Pro Librarie.
I know and the behavior of Independence on Magix products is fine.

How can I  use same before,  Independence flexibly? I would be happy if you could tell me.

-information-
I am using the following products.

・ Independence Pro Standard
・ Independence Symphonic Orchestra
・ Independence Free Librarie

・ Magix Music Maker Premium
・ Magix Smplitude Music Studio
・ Magix Acid Pro
・ Cakework by BundLab
and etc ..

I used Independence as VSTi in my products. Of course, I also enjoyed it standalone applicaton. But now stopping working as an independent sampler.

Now Samplitude Pro X5 Suite  I am addded.
My OS environment is Windows 10 Professional.

Please telt me know if you have any information.
Thank you.

@vitoku The Independence Sampler version bundled with Samplitude only works within Samplitude. You need to uninstall it and reinstall the standalone version from your user account and activate it with your standalone serial number. Then everything should work fine again.

@SP.
Thank you for your comment. Your analysis is correct.

I can't escape from the "file missing" status, which is a common unactivated product for Magix products yet.

I followed your advice, but it didn't work.

I also tried various patterns such as deleting all the directories described in install.conf, deleting and reinstalling each library, changing the installation order of 3.5 and 3.6, but it didn't work.
# 3.5 is the latest version as an independent sampler, 3.6 is the latest version as a sound source attached to samplitude

After installation, 3.5 and 3.6 are treated as separate applications by OS management and installed separately. However, the operation is unified.

No matter which method you try, the activation screen will not appear again. Samplitude has anything cause.

@vitoku This same problem came up with another user some months ago. He wasn't able to make Independence 3.5 show the activation screen and never solved it. On my computer I can switch between version 3.5 and 3.6 without any problems. I just uninstall one version and install the other one.

Maybe it is caused by some Windows security mechanism because the activation screen is a separate exe file that is started by Independece and maybe it is blocked by Windows. So it could maybe help to run version 3.5 as administrator and disabled security features like firewalls and Windows Defender.

Don't use version 3.6 if you want to use Independence libraries outside of Samplitude. This will not work. Be also sure that your 3.5 installer comes not from an older Samplitude version. It has to be an installer that was not bundled with Samplitude.

If this doesn't help in your case maybe try to to uninstall all Independence softwares from the computer. Then search all Windows registry keys with "Independence" in it and delete them by hand with RegEdit.exe. It is also possible to make a complete backup of your registry before you edit something in it. After deleting everything restart the computer and then reinstall Independence 3.5 and hope that the activation screen shows up again.

@SP.
Thank you for your detailed information and advice.

I tried various things as described below, but the result in my environment was NG.
Now I choose the situation to use Independence within the Magics product.

However, I patiently wait for module updates that will be available for modification as standalone samplers and general VSTi.

-information-
Assumption:
Windows Firewall and security functions are all off.

Pattern 1:
Uninstall one, delete the registry, restart, and install on. Several times.
Result:
Authentication is possible for one-sided installation, but it does not work as a stand-alone sampler or general VSTi.

Pattern 2:
Install 3.5 in "Program Files" and 3.6 in "Program Files (x86)", sort each directory and change the registry description so that they use different directories.
Result:
The Independence activation button now responds, but the Welcome screen (key input window) does not appear.

Pattern 3:
Delete Samplitude Suite before pattern 2 and execute pattern 2.
Result: Same as pattern 2.

others:
I tried various patterns in detail, but I felt that there was a movement to omit the authentication function. At first, the activation button was also unresponsive, but when I saw MSG "none of the activation manager of Yellow Tool", Oh! have become. And I changed the description of various directories, but it didn't succeed.

I'm not a programmer so I could only do this, but very thank you for your information and advices. And close this case.
