Incorrect Recording Length on ACL 12 displayed

Hello,I have recorded tracks totaling 64 minutes. When I come to burn them onto a cd of 80 minutes capacity,I receive a message saying the recordings are 118 minutes, hence too much for a 80 minute cd.I have checked all recordings and the track list shows 64 minutes in total.I have closed the program and opened again with the same result.I have had no problems in the past.Any ideas would be gratefully accepted.Thankyou.I am using Audio Cleaning Lab 12 deluxe and windows 7

When you are recording, there is ann information window opened athat shows you what isgoing on with your project if you have stayed in the room....it should start with zero start time showing...if it does show that, hand around and seee when the time stamp goes bonkers and go from there....if the start time shows 84 minutes recorded, you need to reset to zero

Hi

Is there any excess unoccupied track after the end of the recording and does it take the end of the track to 118 mins?

Hi Tony

Please check that the sample rate of the recording is 44.1 kHz 16 bit and not 96kHz 16 bit.

If the sample rate is any thing other than 44.1 kHz then it must be reduced by resampling.

I willl assume its not a sample rate issue, but if it is, I hope ypou get your fix....but if not, i would start from scratch and just record 1 song and play it back...everything good ?  record song 2 and play it and #1 back...still good ?, then just repeat the process until it either all works or you start to find where the problem is.  Good luck

i hope all is OK and remains thaat way.....you gotta remember that the 0s and 1s are being "written" at the speed of light and electronically speakiing, writing was done...but mechancially, the CD/DVD is still just plodding along playing catch up.  Patience is truly a virtue in this case.
