In Edit Pro 17 plus - how do I load in / import material from a DVD? - I am totally knew to this prog and editing -cheers!

I have some long footage transferred to DVD from mini DV - I wish to edit it - how do I get it to load/import in the prog? - Cheers!

In the VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD are one or more files with the ending .VOB. Copy them to your harddisk into a folder. Then find them in Media Pool and drag them down to Timeline .

I have got an analog video input on my PC, i connect the output of my DVD player to it; In VdL you can select Record from analog input. you see the DVD-output in the record screen.
