Importing External Loops, BPM Match

I want to know how to set the BPM of External loops (Files I've downloaded myself from other places). Using the inbuilt "Beat and Tempo Recognition" Does not work at all

Example: I have 2 Loops that I've checked the BPM of and both loops are 120 PBM
When I put Loop A into the program, it tries to set the BPM as 70, 85, 100 and 130
When I put Loop B into the program, it tries to set the BPM as 90, 115, 121 and 156

I want to be able to MANUALLY input the BPM myself so that it's correct and if this isn't possible, is there a way to add a BPM tag to the Files so that when I import them into Music Maker, it reads that Tag and sets it accordingly ?

@Ward-Ron There might be a workaround if you create your own Soundpool. For example, look inside one Soundpool folder. There you'll find a bpm.inf. You can edit this file manually with a text editor like Notepad. This file contains the tempo information.

So, you can simply create your own Soundpool folder. Put all loops of a specific tempo into a subfolder and create the bpm.inf and edit the tempo. Then add your Soundpool to the Loops manager tab via the gear icon.

Beside that, setting the BPM manually is possible in Samplitude, but I believe in Music Maker it's not available.

In Music Maker the Stretch Mouse Modus also might be useful. You can enable it via the icon toolbar or via the shortcut Ctrl + 5.

Then there is the Tempo and Timestretching effect in the old legacy objects effects rack (in version 2025) or the normal objects effect rack (in version 2024 or earlier).

You can also disable automatic tempo adjustment under the Import tab inside the program settings.
