I am hoping someone can guide me through the steps to imbed an image such as a logo within a title and then have it fade away while the video continues uninterrupted.
I guess you have one of the latest MEP-versions.
Place the image (logo) on the track under the Title, mark it and go to Effects > Movement effects < Size/Position.
You now see the logo surrounded by yellow rectangles, reduce the size of logo by moving one of those with the mouse. And move the logo to the desired position with the mouse.
The duration of logo is adjusted by its length, and fading in and out by moving the rectangles in the upper corners of image.
My "Logo" is is made on black background. By clicking "Black" under Effects < Chroma key the black colour gets transparent.

The fade in/out are set as described by aseoli using the handles on the selected clips.
