I want to playback sound from my piano back to my piano

I've got some difficulties with setting up MMM, I really want to hear the recorded sound from my piano back to my piano's audio output. I've tried and searched numerious times for a tutorial but still failed to fix the problem, I've got a Roland FP30 (stage piano) which is capable with acting as a MIDI controller. It works with Synthesia with the playback to piano option, but i dont know how to access this feature in MMM.

Things I already tried:

  • Local off
  • Installing ASIO4ALL
  • Setting my piano to act as output and input in MMM
  • Checking audio devices in device manager and looked up (yes my piano was recognized)

Hi,

Assuming that you have recorded a MIDI object and used one of the VSTi's on the track, click on the instrument at the left of the track header (this is a + when no instrument has been selected), and from the list, select "No VSTi." That might work. You should be able to use any of the GS Wavetable synths available on your piano.

I'm not at home, so I can't try this out, but I recall that I successfully do this, if not in MMM, then in Samplitude.

Good luck,
