I want eight stereo channels playback together

I can't figure out how to have eight stereo channels that I can edit independently but playback together along the same timeline. How can I do that?

@Clark-Wilson I think you need a separate DAW software like Samplitude Music Studio to play eight stereo audio files as the same time.

hi @Clark-Wilson! the sound forge programs are wave form editors, so while you can record, you can't do multi-track recording. for that you will need something like samplitude or acid. hope that helps!

@Clark-Wilson, if you have or want Vegas Pro for video, that has a very capable multi-track audio DAW built in.
If fact, when Vegas was initially published in 1999 by Sonic Foundry, it was an audio-only DAW.
