I want a tutor to talk to anytime I need help

I really want to get better at the video editing software, music software, web design and special effects for my webshow. I don't want to learn by finding the videos on youtube and not finding what I'm looking for specifically. I want someone who knows how to do all this and who can answer my questions over skype and walk me through it like a tutor. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone who I can talk to who can help me when I need it about what I need to know. I've had this program for awhile and I haven't gotten anywhere to understanding it enough. Please anyone, who can I talk to if either over the phone or on skype, who can help me? I've delayed my webshow long enough and I want to get things moving along or all my money will have gone to waste.

johny,

I really doubt you're going to get any offers for such a really big and broad ask. There are several points to make:

  • You want someone "who knows how to do all this...".

I'm reasonably familiar with MEP (and still learning) but have little experience with music software and none at all in web design and webshow special effects, whatever they may be. Others may have wider experience or be better in a different area.

  • You want someone "who can help me when I need it...".

Ignoring time zones, contributors here offer their advice when they have the time to do so, not the instant a question pops up.

  • You want advice on "what I'm looking for specifically.

This is sounding more positive. You will learn best by doing little steps at a time getting advice here at the same pace. I'm not alone getting a bit frustrated at replying to the third or fourth near identical very basic question (there is a search box to check first) but these questions do get answered. MEP has a fairly steep learning curve but ease of use does come with practice. Have you tried any editing at all yet? Any basic questions? I'd hope as you progress you'd also have some challenging questions -- ones that get us scratching our heads and learning something new as we try and find a solution.

Regards,

Carl
