I want a refund

Aidan-Bazan wrote on 3/27/2020, 12:10 PM

I bought this product in Early March. It is a piece of junk that does nothing but give me ads everytime I turn my computer on. Finding a way to contact ANYONE is absolutely ridiculous, and if this does not get sorted by end of next week, I will simply call my credit card company and do a charge back. This is unacceptable customer service, and an unacceptable program. After PAYING for a product, i should NEVER see an ad, EVER.

@Aidan-Bazan

Welcome to the Magix forums.

It is a shame that you made your first post here to rant, especially since this is a user to user forum, not a contact for Magix support. You haven't even told us which Magix product you have!

To contact Magix you need to use the Support link in the header of any forum page and follow the various links, assuming you registered your purchase, but at this time of isolation etc. you may not receive a very prompt reply.

As to the matter of the ads: you are very fortunate if you have no other purchased software that periodically "invites" you to update, upgrade or similar.

"Not a contact for Magix support." Well when I clicked contact magix support it took me here, so now its just lying to me? Even more reason to get a refund!

I do not have a single other purchased software that takes up a quarter of my screen on start up to tell me to pay money for something with no way to disable it. Because that's stupid to do. No good company does that. Again. I want a refund. Get me in contact with someone who can give me a refund. Or, as stated originally, I will simply contact my credit card company.

Oh and I love how you call it an "invite" when its not an invite. Its an ad. Call it what it really is. An ad.

Hi

Assuming you followed the correct links you would have ended up on this page and not back here.
