I am getting rather upset with the customer service this programm/site offers. i have sent the question to customer service and no one will get back to me.

I registered when i first installed magix delux pro 15 - everything worked fine i could burn to dvd and download the prodad after effects - in the meantime i got a new laptop reinstalled the programm and now i cannot burn to dvd or load after effects or put to youtube without registering, yet when i try to reregister it says that my registration code has already been used and that i do not have to reregister - but i cannot export without reregistering!!! What the eff is with that, i am pretty upset right now i payed for a programm that will not let me finish my projects, if i do not get help with this issue soon i will boycott this programm and seek legal assistance!!!

What is the name of the program. Magix is the name of the company and I am not sure which deluxe pro 15 it could be... But here is what might be the issue.

It could be that the version 15 you have is not a Windows 7 64bit compatible software.

Video Deluxe 15 premium, the programm works fine on Vista and 7 i just cannot burn to dvd without reregistering, yet they will not let me reregister and the programm will not work without reregistering. Now what do i do to export my project?

It might appear to work fine from one perspective, but if the software was not designed for Windows 7 using a 64bit OS structure, then it could have strange anomalies, like not having authorization to use other devices of the system of codecs because of administrations rights.

You might try this thought. You will need to close the program and reboot the computer. Once the computer has completed its restart you locate the Video Deluxe icon, but this time, right mouse click and choose to "Run as Administrator". This should perform a check that will require you to authorize the programs access to other hardware and system protocols.

When the software opens, go to the drop down menu "Help" then "About Video Deluxe". That should open a dialog that shows you the serial number of the software. If you see that serial number, then the program is registered and activated.

It might be that you need to re-register any codecs (MPEG-2 and MPEG-4) as well as any of the Dolby or AVCHD codecs. If the MPEG-2 codec is not registered, then you will not have the ability to burn as that codec is necessary for the process of making a DVD.

If that is the case, then the program would prompt you to register that codec. I believe the registration is free for Premium users, so it would be simply following the link, entering the login information for the account where the serial number is registered and you would be done.

If that is not happening, you would need to contact Magix support. But... be warned that this program is not supported any longer, Magix is effectively on Video Deluxe 19, so you might hit a dead end just on the fact that Video Deluxe 15 was not developed for Windows 7 compatibility (because Windows 7 was not available when the Video Deluxe 15 was developed). Also note, this is a user to user area, we are not support, we can only give you free advice and knowledge that we have acquired.

I hope some of this helps.

well, problem is i tried all that, i followed the link filled in all the information on my account with serial number and i keep getting the same message over and over: Your product is already registered, everything should run smoothley there is no need to reregister.

so now what?
