I purchased Sound Forge Audio Studio 15 and ended up with 12.6 instead and I have not been able to register my product nor use it. Please advise or help me sort this out.

Where did you purchase Sound Forge? If it was from a third-party retailer, you should contact them.
Did you download and install Audio Studio 12 or 15? The serials are not interchangeable in either case.
If you just need to download Audio Studio 15, and you can download and install the trial version. The installer is the same regardless of the trial or perpetual version The trial version's serial code will only activate SF for thirty-days, whereas the purchased serial activates it perpetually.
After you download, install and launch Sound Forge, enter the serial code which you should have received in an email from Magix
The above does not apply to Sound Forge 365, the subscription version.
