The instrument I use doesn't change this. Playing each key it will play F# instead of F and skip the rest of the Sharps and Flats.

Which version, 16 or 2016, basic or Live?
If 2016, which keyboard, the one at the bottom of each instrument? Or the main keyboard at the bottom of the screen when you press on the Keyboard tab?
If you mean the main Keyboard, the default is now different from the regular keyboard. You see big coloured keys, some with circles. With this setting, you can only play the notes corresponding to the key that you are in. Click on the lit button to the left of where it says "Scale: Major" and you will get the regular keyboard. Now you should be able to play all notes.
