I'm having an issue with one song that plays then cuts out

I seem to be having an issue with one song that I produced, audio plays then like half way through I hear a high pitch beep then audio cuts out!. Just spent a couple of hours trying all different audio combinations and it still happening on this one song. when I open a new different project it plays fine. Has anyone come across an issue like this, My vocals are in WAV, with effects added. I have an Behringer UMC 404HD audio interface which I bypassed and I'm listening through my computer and tried every Asio setting!...when producing the song yesterday it was working fine then went to listen to it today and its acting all funny on me! It's got me stumped!

Any Info would greatly be appreciated.

With some audio samples if edited-cut (effects) I have had this issue. Need to isolate (solo listen) the track and find the problem area. fix may well mean delete and redo. Has a Backup take been looked up.?

@JERRY-LEO

One other thought: you mention your vocal has effects added. Could one, or more, of these be running in Demo mode, i.e., it/they are not fully licensed to your computer? Manufacturers often use this type of "digital watermarking" to ensure you cannot use their app without paying for it!

Thanks for your comments, I will try soloing each track to see if that is the problem. I did use a recorded wav file, it is possible that there may be a digital watermark, but like I mentioned when working on the song it was playing fine then the next day went to listen to it again and it gave me this problem.

I will post back to see if I can figure this problem out.

Thanks Again.

Try playing it without Plug ins

Yes, I have tried that and still the same problem! I tried running each track in solo mode and each track played through with no problems, with and without effects. this one has got me stumped. I've even copied and inserted each track into a new project and still running into the same problem. Is it possible to see or detect if there is some kind of digital watermark on my .wav file?
