Is it while you mix it or on the finished "product". If it is not on your finished mix when playing it through e.g. Win. media player or iTunes it could be your soundcard.

Are you using an onboard soundcard?

Hi,
Is it only the synthesizer tracks that have static? Are you mixing down to add additional tracks? Perhaps is memory related then. It's not necessary to mix down unless you need the space. Can you export to .wav or .mp3 - do you get static then?

If you are useing a laptop with an on board sound card the sound quality is not as good as a separate sound card. even if its a top notch card. I paid £1000 for my laptop but still had to get a separte sound card, now its fine.
