I have Movies on DVD 7 and the USB video converter but when I try to connect to the analogue video recorder I get the message no recording device found but the blue led is illuminated?

I'm using windows 8.1 with SP 1 and when I look in the device manager it shows the usb converter as just an audio device?

I've downloaded and installed the 2828 driver but this hasn't made any difference?

Hi

Check that you have the 32 bit drivers for the USB video converter installed - 64 bit drivers are not recognised by 32 bit programs.

If you have the correct drivers installed then it is highly probable that this is a compatability problem - Movies on DVD 7 is too old to be fully compatible with Windows 8.1.

In which case you will have to upgrade to a Windows 8.1 compatible version.
