I have just reopened a movie to carry out some more editing; when I pressed 'Play', instead of the movie running I got an error message saying - "Waveform output device 'none' cannot play this format: Reason - A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system".
What does this mean and how can I solve the problem?

 Hi,

Which version of MEP? What are your operating system and computer specs?

You can try going into the Program settings, Playback tab, and change the output device. If that doesn't work, post a screen shot of this and also tell us what your playback options are under Windows playback devices.
