I have just purchased Rescue vinyl & tapes from a local Computer store. When I got home I found that it operates on Windows XP. My operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate. What am I to do?

Hi,

You may be in luck actually, as the compatiblity mode in Win 7 is pretty good.  Don't know which version you have, but try starting Windows in Safe Mode, choose to install as administrator, and compatibility mode for Win XP SP 2.  Hopefully you can install it, but it usually will.  You have to run the program as administrator though whenever you wish to use it.

If you then download the latest burn routines, then you can even burn discs with it.  Available on the website,

or just use this link

If the software is ACL 15, then there's every chance it will work. Cheers, M o' L
