Hi,

I understand your set up with the Behringer UCA200 device as your USB input for the mixer, by why do you say "the sec, cord plugs into the back into the mic..." and what is the Rode device for?  I know that Rode makes microphones but I have never seen that device before.

Hi

I too am a little puzzled why the mic needs a second cable pugged into it - am I right in assuming that this supplying power to the mic?

What is the mixer make and model? It looks identical to one I am familiar with, if it is then it is capable of providing 'phantom ' power for the mic.

What device are you selecting to record from in the software?

John

Is it possible for you to directly connect MIC into MIC JACK on computer?

Quality of the sound if bad can be twicked if you mess with sound settings . I just coonect mic and midi directly from piano and it works . Quality is decent .

Usually the jack is blue colored but it could be different depending on model .
