I have a recording question.

I just purchased Magix, Music Maker 2014 and I can not get the program to record my voice. I have a microphone and I can't get it to playback either. The program keeps shutting down. I have Windows 8 and my Microphone is "Singing Machine' SMM206.

It would be much helpful if you would have mentioned the Mic brand/name and windows version.

Please check this PDF tutorial for settings and adjust according to your Window's version.

I also suggest that you watch the video in this tutorial. It applies to 2014 as well as 2015.
