i have a hp media center windows xp , when i installed movie pro 12, and photo story 6 my windows auto play is now disabled.

we tried restoring it with a hp technician it will not. your program works but now my auto play is not working. can you help me. is this program compatible with media center xp2

The activation/deactivation of the Windows auto-play function is a setting in the Windows registry file. Should be easy enough to fix one way or the other. Make sure you're working under an administrator account, so you'll have the necessary rights. Click on the Windows START button and choose the "Run..." command. Start up the Windows registry editor by entering "regedit". Browse to the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom

Find the value "AutoRun" on the right-hand side, double-click on it and put in a "1" for the value data to enable auto-play again. If you're still struggling with this, you might want to contact Magix technical support.
