entire movie does not save, only 17 minutes of 30 minute movie.  no error occurs.  I did have an error occur but when i tried to burn a cd but don't remember what it said.    using HP laptop, very new, Windows 9.  I'm using Movie edit pro 2015 which came installed on computer.

Hi

. . . . i export my movie which is 30 minutes long . . . .

Check that you do not have a Range selected on the timeline - indicated by a blue bar just above the timeline and / or that you do not have Export range option checked in the export dialog - it must be unchecked.

. . . . when i tried to burn a cd but don't remember what it said . . . .

If trying to burn a DVD to CD was the message 'Invalid disc type' or something similar?

When posting a question error messages are one of the main clues to solving a problem. You can find the error message in the error log file - called  dbk.log - which is located in the folder

         C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Program version\

Open this with notepad and, starting at the bottom, work upwards until you see the error (the newest items are added to the end of the log file).

. . . . Windows 9 . . .

Was this a typo and do you mean Windows 8?
