@Bill-Corkery What response? You just send an error message.

Have you tried to open a ticket at technical support? https://www.magix.info/us/support/article/how-do-i-contact-technical-support--1513/

Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @Bill-Corkery.
Try resetting Sound Forge and clearing the cache. Hold down the 'Ctrl+Shift' keys, whilst launching SF11, which should open the reset window..
If that fails, download the latest version of SF11. from 'Magic Service Center> My Products' or the 'Download Center' and reinstall.
If that does not resolve it, uninstall SF11, but this time use a third-party uninstaller like 'Revo Uninstall' that can remove the left-over registry entries and other pertinent data the OS uninstall leaves behind, which can cause issues to reoccur. Revo Uninstall has a pro and freeware versions. The free version is adequate in most cases.

rraud, Who could have thought this lingering problem could have been solved so easily! the Ctrl+Shift worked like a charm. I'm back in action. Thank you very much!!

You are welcome @Bill-Corkery, I am glad your SF11 is up and running again.
FWIW, Magix versions of Sound Forge have the 'reset/clear cache' command in the 'File' menu, but the 'Ctrl+Shift-Launch' works as well, if SF will not be open to access the File menu..
