I can not get my timeline to open up. I can not find how to open the toolbar in the middle as well. I am using Pro 16 plus hd for the first time. Can some one help me?

Hi. try this...it might work,although I'm using the most up-to-date version,but I think the layout is the same: open your program. On the LEFT-hand side,below the Preview Screen/Pane,you should see a group of SQUARE icons. The very first one, on the extreme left, is just a blank square.The second one is divided into four small squares,and the THIRD one looks like rows of bars and dots. Click on this one,and it <should> open your Timeline .I'm not quite sure what you mean about "opening the toolbar in the middle",though??!! Hope this helps!?

PS: You could also try this first: Click on "File" at the top of the screen;then go down almost to the bottom of the list and choose "Settings".When the Menu for this pops up,select "Reset program to Default",and click OK. The program will close itself and then re-open,and the layout should be the standard view!
