I can not enter the code to download "+1000 samples".

On the envelope with the disk "Music Maker 21" there is a code to activate the program "Music Maker 21" and another code to download "+1000 samples". Following the instructions I came to step number 4, where after clicking "Checkout" should appear a window with a field for entering the code and the text "Redeem coupon". However, after clicking the "Checkout "button, the"Lost Internet connection" window appears. Tell me, please, is there any other way to bring up a window with a field for entering the code and the text "Redeem coupon". Thank you!

First, where did you obtain this disc? You say it is for version 21, which is now very old; the current version is 27. As a result of the time that has passed since version 21 was originally released and today I strongly suspect the download has long been discontinued.

I understand you're operating on Catooh through the built-in Catooh browser. That Music Maker version is relatively old, and I'm not sure whether this is possibly a problem with the built-in browser no longer being fully functional, since it's probably based on a pretty dated Internet Explorer API. I'm also somewhat skeptical whether that Catooh coupon for the bonus content would even still be valid, since it has an expiration date. My suggestion would be to get in touch with us directly via customer service:

We should be able to sort out something for you to get that bonus content or a suitable replacement.

Aside from that, my recommendation would be to use the free upgrade path to the most current Music Maker generation. You can install it from this URL:

http://dl03.magix.net/musicmaker.exe

By entering your old version's serial number into the "Acitvate Edition" dialogue of this current version, you will automatically be granted access to the features and software instruments associated with your paid-for version. You will then be able to benefit from future program updates and bug fixes.

Thanks for the reply. I live in Moscow. I bought a CD with the program "Music Maker 21" yesterday in the store "Become friends" on Semenovskaya in the music section № 119 "Interest". Perhaps this disk has lain with them for a long time and no one bought it, but I saw it for the first time only yesterday. I read the contents of the disc on the box and decided to give it a try. The installation of the program was successful. The difficulty arose only with downloading and registering "+ 1000 samples".

Just in case you missed it, please see again my post above. Yes, this is a pretty old version. Ideally, they shouldn't be selling it any longer. However, you can't really blame a retailer for trying to get rid off some old stock, I guess. Plus, I think we stopped making an official Russian language retail version of Music Maker after version "21". So, there wasn't really a good replacement they could have stocked. (The current Music Maker generation can be switched to Russian within the program.) Either way, you can upgrade to the newest version for free as per the instructions above, while still being able to benefit from the features and content items you paid for. If you need to have the issue with the potentially expired Catooh bonus coupon sorted, please get in touch with MAGIX customer service and explain the issue. Thanks!
