I am trying to add multiple .wav files to one project. I am using Samplitude Music Studio. The wav files are recordings I have made; vocals, piano, etc. I have researched and cannot find how to add them all. Help!

I have an HP Pavilion DV6000 with Intel Centrino running Win8.  I am using ASIO4ALL v2, a Prosonus 2.2 usb.  I've already recorded multiple .wav files on Audacity and I would like to import those files to Samplitude Music Studio to utilize it's many attributes.  However, when I cannot seem to import more than one...and it is in it's own window.  I would like to stack each one to mix together.  Is this possible?  or do I have to re-record them seperately into the program? I am not sure which version it is, it was a gift from a friend.  Samplitude Music Studio MX

Samp MX is fairly new.....I have not done what ou  are trying to do, however, I think it is doable....let me assume that our composistion has 6 tracks of various musical stuff and all tracks are wav files...on the files menu of Samp it will ask for new or existing...if youclick on existing, does it show your composistion file name ?

It shows the whole composition in it's own little window, not as just one track.  I've noticed that I can import it to Magix Music Maker and play with it all I want, tho I haven't tried to move that to Samp Music Studio yet.  I was hoping that I could just mix it in the one program, not have to go from one to the other

I would certainly agree with you, however it has been my and many others experience that Magic music programs, while similar in some ways and allowing the "sharing " of resources....sometimes disappoints, and thats why they have so many different music software programs.. Have you tried looking at the Help files and do a search on importing audiio files ?  Seems to me that your request is reasonable and you should be able to do it.  Don't give up and let us know how you make out.
