I am stuck with my Sound Forge 2.0 bought from App Store

I bought Sound Forge 2.0 from the App Store when I was mastering my newest album. When I tried to get additional add ons from Sony it directed me to a Magix.co website which was not ready to help musicians and users of music and other soft which they had bought from Sony Company in Madison Wisconsin. I wanted for many months and it was from 2016 i still cannot connect help in Sound Forge 2.0 to the internet because the MAGIX link does not open directly.

So I logged on this website and saw this forum. I notice there are so many customers who used Sound Forge products bought from Sony and when Magix bought the softwares.

If Magix cannot serve customers for the products they bought from Sony why not say so and see those softwares to engineers who are able to do the job.

I dont to admit. But i am frustrated from the inefficiency of MAGIX.

I will like a feedback from Magix to my questions and concerns about updating from 2.0 to 2.5 or higher on my MacBook Pro.

Thank you.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

I wonder whether this post https://www.magix.info/uk/forum/transfer-scs-serial-numbers--1178940/ might be a good place to start, thus ensuring your Sony registration has been transferred to Magix.

Once you have done this, or ensured your registration is now with Magix, you should be able to access what you need from the web site.

By the way, this is a user to user forum; Magix staff only rarely post here.

From my experience, if you bought SF from Apple / Mac App Store, Sony does not recognize the purchase for upgrades etc.
