I am having trouble adding some videos that I recently recorded on a Samsung W200 handheld video camera. The format is an MP4 and the error message says that the file format cannot be opened by Magix and the files are set up for sharing already. Is there

Good day Jason,

I've learned recently that MP4-format could be produced by a diversity of different kind of codecs. So your problem  just might be caused by the codec that is been used te create your MP4. To bypass these kind of problems I usely convert my videofiles (that won't be opened by my video-editing-software) with a video-convertion-software (see on google) to reconvert those videofiles to the format I would like to add on my movietrack. There quite a few free videoconverters ready to do the trick .

I hope this info will help to get further. Succes!!!

Kind regards,

Thanks for the help.  I did use a converter and everything worked great. Thanks again.
