There is currently a deal on Humble Bundle for various bundles of MAGIX audio software. $20+ gets you ACID Pro 7, $30+ gets you Samplitude Pro X2 Silver + Sound Forge Pro 11, etc..

I have no affiliation with Humble Bundle, and I believe the offer is legitimate. There was a similar deal recently where a lot of users picked up VEGAS Pro 14 for $20.

What comes with the Acid Pro 7? What loops? I read on kvr that it will not have the free upgrade to acid pro 8 (which is logical, given the price.)

My install came with 2.64GB of loops, as follows:

Acid Rock,

Downtempo Hip Hop,

Orchestral 1 - Classical,

Electric Piano Collection,

Xcore Hardcore Techno Kit,

It tried to install the loops to C: drive (default) but I chose to browse to an external drive and install them there instead.

Thank you Nick for posting these offers. Their last offering included Vegas Pro Edit 14 and other applications which I purchased at the time, thanks to you (one month ago ?). With this current offer, paying $30 US for Sound Forge Pro 11, Acid Pro 7, Samplitude and others really rounds out my toolbox. The ability to choose how much of your contribution goes to Charity, Magix and Humble Bundle is another benefit. I recommend that anyone interested in this offer to act soon. Hats off to Magix and Humble Bundle for making this happen!

Does someone know if you buy Sound Forge Pro 11 through Humble you will be able to get the upgrade to 12 (as offered in the Magix web site)?

I got this response from Magix support:

"Only customers who have purchased directly through the special on our website offer are eligible for the free upgrade to version 12 upon release. 

Existing owners of Sound Forge Pro 11 will be eligible to purchase an upgrade once version 12 is released this Spring."

Still a great value purchase from Humble

Magix will probably continue to offer discounted upgrade offerings for their products, so I'd say use try 11 and see what 12 has to offer, and consider upgrading if you like it 😀
