You need to ask your hosting service about the purchase and installation of an https certificate.

My hosting service is Xara, but I can't find any way to ask either Xara or Magix about buying an SSL certificate.

@tom-durkin

My apologies! I've now been told that neither Magix nor Xara offer SSL certificates for sites which they host. So, if you want your site to be "secure" I'm afraid you will need to find a new host.

Thank you, Jeff. I hate to leave, but my website is getting flagged as unsafe and costing me clients.

@tom-durkin

I must admit I find it surprising in this age of internet security that Xara/Magix do not offer this service.

Yes. Me too. They just lost a customer. I had to move to another host.

You need to find a hosting service with free support for SSL certificates. Which hosting service depends on your needs. You can choose a profitable collocation if the load is large or there are several sites. For ex HEZNER

Hi,

Did you get the M-Hosting package with a purchase of Xara Designer Pro X or did you purchase it separately?

It is included in a purchase of Xara DPX for 1 year. It is intended to be for those who have Xara and need a simple website - no SSL, no database.

Jeff

I am in the process of doing that.
