AIR's Hybrid 3 is on sale at Plugin Boutique for $14.99. It's a better Synth, so if you need one that is good for EDM-type sounds, you should get that if you're on a budget.
Also, SynthMaster One is a nice budget workhorse Wavetable Synth.

I have two DAWs from one vendor and can't use instruments from one in another! It's strange and frustrating..

Revolta 2 is a legacy Synth that is 32-Bit only and hasn't been updated in like 5-10 years (somewhere in there). I am not sure why anyone would want it in ACID Pro, to be honest. It barely ships with any decent presets.
Just download Odin and use that, or something. There are too many free synths that are supported and regularly updated to care about this, frankly.
. . . . it's about the strange MAGIX policy to her users . . .
There is nothing strange about it - a company that spends time and money on developing specific add ons for their software are within their rights to use a custom format and lock it that software.
