How to you move video from "Record" mode to "Edit" mode?

I was able to import my video into a project and it can be played back in the "record" section but how do you get it in the "edit" section to actually edit the film?

I have MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 15.

Hi,

If your Magix Movie Pro is open look at the top right side you will
Record/Edit/Burn click on Edit and browse your project double click it.

I suggest please watch Magix tutorial from the link

When web page is opened scroll down and locate Tutorial videos click on the button you will have Introduction, Recording, Editing, Burning videos, in your case you should watch Recording first it will show you how to use Edit function.

Also you may set up the program to start in "Edit" mode, then drag & drop videos to the timeline.
