How to transfer multiple magix software to another PC

Justin-Serafin wrote on 3/10/2022, 10:11 PM

First off, I apologize in advance if I put this in the wrong category, as my issue concerns multiple magix software. I have the following software and I'm wondering how to transfer all of the software to a new PC:

Magix Vintage Effects Suite

Magix Content and Soundpools

Magix Video Sound Cleaning Lab

Music Maker

Vegas Pro Edit 14.

I see an option to download the last software and deactivate it on my current PC, but I don't see an option for the other software. Please help, thank you.

@Justin-Serafin

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, as you suggested, it is a good idea to deactivate all your Magix software on your existing computer. Doing that ensures that you will not experience the potential difficulty of the Magix registration server thinking you already have the maximum number of activations in use.

Then, go to your Magix account, log in, go to My products where you should find a list of ALL the Magix software you have purchased, along with the downloaders (assuming they are still available, some of your current software may now be too old and so not available) and serial keys.

Then install your software on your new PC, register and activate. Doing the latter will then allow each program to download and install any previously-purchased additional content.

You have not actually said which versions of the various software you have, hence my caveat about some not being still available.

One other thing to be aware: if any of your purchased software was subject to the 12 months update service and you did not repurchase this at each 12 month anniversary, the version you install will be the one you originally installed without any subsequent updates.

I have two accounts - changed my email address and on purchasing new software, registered them with my new email address. I can access my first account using my old email address and password. I would like to know how I can "move" the registered software from my old email addressed account to my new one.

Thank you, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

All the very best in the new year.

@Paul-Mumby

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

You need to email infoservice@magix.net, give them full details of both your accounts and ask that they merge them into whichever one of the two you wish to "keep".
