How to Sync Audio with Video for HD MTS

jmorrell wrote on 3/2/2013, 6:53 PM

I am filming with a Sony Sr11 which creates MTS 1080i files.

Whenever I export the footage from Magix Movie Edit Pro 14, the audio is out of sync

It appears that this only occurs for long clips. Short clips export OK.

I was told before to create a frame table but this isn't listed as an option anymore when I right clip on the footage.

Hi

You should not recreate the frametable with mts files  - this can create more problems then it solves on long clips

IIRC MEP14 does not handle long mts files very well, however you can try turning off the Create frametable option in the programs settings if it is there and then import a long clip

I would suggest it is time to upgrade to the latest version MEP 2013 which handles mts files very well.

Earlier versions which support mts files better ie MX and 17 are still available at reduced prices however they are no longer supported.
