How to shuttle back and forth in an audio file?

In my old DAW (Cool Edit Pro 2.1), while playing an audio file, I could press & hold the << or >> button, and the play-head would rewind or fast-forward thru the file at a user-selectable speed with audio. My favorite fixed speed was "x4". Is this possible in SF.Pro version 15, and if so, how does one set it up?

I don't know how it is in version 15, but in version 14 Pro with the J key for backwards and the L key for forwards. If you press more often, the speed increases

Yes, the J - K - L keys 'scrub' the sound like a pro reel-to-reel deck. Reverse (J), Pause (K) and Forward (L). Tapping the pertinent key again increases the speed. It was introduced in SF 8, 9 or 10 and is in all subsequent versions of Sound Forge Pro. Off-hand, I do not know if AS (Audio Studio) has this function.
