I am using Magix Movie Edit Pro MX Plus for 3D videos, and I want to know how I can get the video to play in 3D automatically. I saw in another post that starting the filename with "3D" will do that, but I can't find this info in the manual. Is it just missing from the manual? I'd like to avoid wasting a Blu-Ray disk just to find that out.

To avoid wasting a BD disc I do initial burns to BD-RE discs and once they are satisfactory then burn to BD-R. and wipe the BD-RE for re-use.
From MX you will have to burn Bluray using one of the Stereo Side by Side or Stereo Under/Over options to disc.
Which option you chose depends on what your 3D TV supports.
I have found that I have to manually set my TV to the Side by Side or Over/Under as MEP appears not to include a flag that tells the TV that the movie is 3D.
Many commercial 3D movies use the MVC codec for 3D - although you can purchase this for MX, it only allows you to import MVC material - it cannot be used to burn MVC coded discs because of licensing issues.
