how to save mp3 files

as per instruction render icon for saving to mp3 files is greyed out which means I can not save wave files

"File> Save As" ,, choose MP3. If that is grayed out or missing, see this recent MP3 search.

Otherwise, the MP3 codec is included in all versions of Sound Forge, Occasionally it just does get installed for some unknown reason.
