how to remove volume reduction

I used the "volume reduction" feature to reduce the volume of a music track when an underlying video track has audio that I want to hear. I have subsequently edited the project and now some of the volume reduction points do not correspond to the video tracks. I can see the green keyframe indicators on what appears to be on a volume curve, but I cannot grab or move these. How do I edit or remove this volume reduction so that it can be applied again correctly?

I'm not quite sure what display mode you are in, but does "reset audio effects" from the clip context menu do what you want?

Yes - unfortunately the Track effects curve comes into play when that feature is used and the effect remains in place in relation to the Track and not the clip material and gets out of whack with subsequent editing. You can even move the audio to another track and the effect will stay on the original track. I have even seen this happen in a Magix promotional video!

You can move the keyframes along the timeline as a group by clicking the first one and then Shift clicking the last one upon where they will turn purple and can be dragged along the timeline to match up to their intended clip or the whole track curve can be reset by Rt click > Reset Track curves > Volume.

Not a very practical feature as you have found.

Thanks for the answers and help. The "reset audio effects" does not work, but the "Rt click > Reset Track curves > Volume" appears to remove the volume reduction from the entire project! Certainly not the most user friendly, but at least I can redo this to match the new edits.

REQUEST to Magix: Ability to grab and move individual keyframes for volume reduction!

Hi Ralph

The facility to move individual keyframe points exists already. I described selecting and moving multiples but if you place the mouse pointer in the middle of a single KF in the Volume reduction track curve and left click, you should be able to drag it up and down or along the timeline. It should turn purple once selected. I am not sure why you cannot select it. Try increasing the track height to make selection easier.
